Please feel free to contact us regarding anything concerning Tree Swallow projects. We can’t guarantee we’ll be able to answer all Tree Swallow questions or problems: We are very much aware we don’t know everything. Sometimes we feel we’ve barely scratched the surface, and other times we know we haven’t! However, we’ll do our best, drawing on our direct experiences whenever possible, for what they’re worth. Or if we’re stumped we will at least try to direct you to other useful sources of information if we can.
Contact us if you have a crisis:
We know that during the nesting season people sometimes face crisis situations with their birds that require prompt actions. We will try to respond to contacts of this sort as soon as possible, hopefully within 24 hours. At other times of the year a few days may elapse between contact and response. Please be patient, we will answer.
Contact us if you have an idea:
We know you are smart, creative folks. Many of you actively work at solutions to problems. For instance, we bet some of you love tinkering with nest box design. Others search for techniques for discouraging the depredations of House Sparrows. Please be aware that we are open to requests for collaboration, especially conducting field testing of devices here at our Tree Swallow Project in upstate NY. We’ve done this in the past and hope to do more in the future. While we may not always accept every idea, we do promise to seriously consider all such requests, so if you think you’ve got a good one, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Let us know how we’re doing:
We welcome feedback. Positive is always nice, but negative is okay too. Negative comments often serve as wake-up calls, forcing us to evaluate, address, and correct the web site’s deficiencies. Return visitors will notice that we are constantly tweaking things, editing text, adding pictures, etc., striving for improvement. If we’ve got something wrong or your experience differs from ours, please let us know. The last thing we want is to disseminate or perpetuate inaccuracies.
So don’t hesitate. If there’s something you wish to say, ask or share regarding Tree Swallows or Tree Swallow projects use the e-mail address below.
